BGSU Spring Game This Saturday at Noon

April 15, 2008

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University football team will host their annual Spring Game this Saturday inside Doyt L. Perry Stadium. Opening kickoff is set for Noon and admission is free to all. The contest will also be carried live on BCSN.

Broadcasting Note
While the broadcasting talent inside the booth is still being determined, Saturday's sideline reporter will be BGSU head coach Gregg Brandon, making his television debut. While calling plays and watching his team, coach Brandon will be giving BCSN an inside look at the BGSU football program.

Format of the Contest
First half will be a normal clock with stoppages for incomplete passes, out-of-bounds plays and change of possessions. Second half will be a running clock except for stoppages inside the last few minutes of the fourth quarter.

Teams
The second annual spring game draft will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 4:45 p.m. in the team meeting room on the second floor of the Sebo Athletic Center. Each squad will announce their top overall selection and be presented a jersey for the team they will represent on Saturday afternoon. The public is invited to this event.

Rosters will be made available online at BGSUFalcons.com as soon as they become official. There will also be free roster handouts prior to Saturday's kickoff.
